Come ride one of our sweet-tempered horses on some of the most beautiful trails around -- with no trailering. You can also work in the arena on flatwork, barrels, obstacles, whatever. Pay by the month depending on how many times per week you ride.
Beginners will need to take lessons first ($55 for a private lesson, $45 for a semi-privare or $35 for a group lesson). More advanced lessons are available.
Chose from a 17 yo, 17 hand thoroughbred cross gelding; an 18 yo 14.1hh Quarterhorse mare; a 22 yo, 15 hand Quarter Horse gelding; an 18 yo 15.2 hh Quarterhorse gelding, an 11 yo, 16 hh Dutch Warmblood mare; an 11 yo, 15 hh Arab/paint mare; a 17 yo, 16 hand Tennessee Walker/Kentucky Natural Gaited gelding; a 13 yo 15.2 hh Belgian/QH cross mare; a 12 yo, 13 hh Appaloosa mare; a 16 hh, 13 yo Quarterhorse mare or a 25 yo 15 hh Quarterhorse gelding. Various horses do jumping, dressage, barrels & Western Pleasure, but all do trails as well. Some are calmer, some more spirited, but all are good horses.
You could coordinate your rides with me, one of the boarders, someone else who is half-leasing or you could bring a friend to ride with you.
We've got 17 acres of rural land and use of over 100 acres of neighbors' land. There are wide, mowed right of ways along the quiet roads - perfect for stretch out into a canter. There are over 160 acres of pasture, riding trails & dirt roads rarely traveled by cars to ride on. It's so beautiful and peaceful out here for riding in the sun or shade. It takes about 20 minutes to get to UF.
You are welcome to use: all necessary tack (Western or English), helmets, grooming tools/supplies, a 50' wooden round pen with afternoon shade, plus - in the barnyard - are 2 sets of cross ties, wash area, a mounting block, saddle stands & a large tack room with lot's of shelves. We have jumps, cavalettis and a 100' x 200' riding arena with newly amended footing.
$125/month for 1 ride per week, $175/month for 2 rides per week, $250/month for 3 rides a week
